The Tallmon family has been working in the jewelry industry since 1948, when George Tallmon opened a store in Mitchell. Eventually he was joined in the business by his son Bill who opened the Scottsbluff store in 1962. Currently Tallmons is in the 3rd generation, being owned and operated by Michael and his wife Dawn, who joined the business in 2002.
